Baypath Adoptable Animal of the Week: Mikasa

Adoptable Animal-Mikasa

Each week, the Independent highlights an animal available for adoption at Baypath Humane Society in Hopkinton. This week’s adoptable animal is 9-month-old Mikasa.

Here is Baypath’s description of Mikasa:

“Looking for a dog who greets every day like it’s the best day ever? Meet Mikasa — an adorable young pup with the cutest little underbite and a personality just as sweet.

“At just over 30 pounds, Mikasa is the perfect mix of playful and affectionate. Silly, social and always ready to be part of the fun, she loves people, enjoys walks and hiking, and has even become a field trip favorite! Whether she’s exploring outdoors, making doggy friends or curling up for pets, Mikasa is happiest spending time with her people.

“Mikasa has done great with other dogs and would love a playful canine buddy. She’s smart, very food motivated, already knows “sit,” walks nicely on leash and is excited to keep learning with a family ready for adventures, training and fun.

“With her contagious happiness and signature smile, Mikasa is ready to bring lots of love, laughter and tail wags to a lucky home. Could Mikasa be your perfect match?”

For more information on Mikasa and any of the other available pets at Baypath, email adopt@baypathhumane.org or visit baypathhumane.org/adopt.
