Schools Notebook: Donahue wins HALT scholarship

Hopkinton High School senior Thomas Donahue won the $2,000 scholarship awarded by the Hopkinton Area Land Trust for 2026.

Donahue plans to become a wildlife biologist, starting with studying environmental science at Wesleyan University. He set up bat boxes on the Center Trail for his Eagle Scout project and has served as the high school liaison for the Sustainable Green Committee.

Local collegians recognized

Isabella Flores and Lauren Gelbwachs (summa cum laude) received bachelor of arts degrees from Holy Cross. …
