Baypath Adoptable Animal of the Week: Ms. Piggy

by | Sep 26, 2024 | Featured

Adoptable Animal-Ms. Piggy

Each week, the Independent highlights an animal available for adoption at Baypath Humane Society in Hopkinton. This week’s adoptable animal is 3-year-old Ms. Piggy.

Here is Baypath’s description of Ms. Piggy:

“Have you ever seen a dog rock a feathered boa so fabulously? Meet Ms. Piggy, or just Piggy for short! She’s a sweet, smart and affectionate lady with a bright smile, adorable wiggles and those ears that promise to keep all your secrets! Her heart is full of love, and she’ll do anything for a tasty treat.

“Piggy is a staff and volunteer favorite, loving trail adventures, field trips and car rides with her pals. She enjoys zooming around with squeaky toys, basking in the sun, snuggling up for belly rubs and being told she’s pretty. Crate-trained and food-motivated, Piggy shines in training sessions and knows commands like “sit,” “down,” “stay,” “wait,” “place,” “paw,” “front,” “go say hi” and “touch.” With the promise of treats, she’s eager to learn even more! Plus, as a recipient of our Pedigree Success Kit, she’ll come with a training voucher and goodies to help you both start off on the right paw.

“What does Piggy dream of? A quiet home with a sunny yard to bask in and a cozy spot on the sofa for movie nights. Coming from the rural South, she can find busy areas to be a bit overwhelming, but Piggy’s bravery shines as she gains confidence every day at her own pace.

“If you’re looking for a silly, loyal and food-motivated companion with “main character energy,” don’t wait — apply for Piggy today!”
