Each week, the Independent highlights an animal available for adoption at Baypath Humane Society in Hopkinton. This week’s adoptable animal is 1-year-old Nova.

Here is Baypath’s description of Nova:

“Our man Nova is out of this world! This young man traveled all the way from Florida to find his family. He is a rocket of energy who loves to play with both his human and canine friends alike.

“Nova would be over the moon to find a family to channel his brilliance and teach him all kinds of fun tricks — he’s already got a few up his sleeve. He wants you to know that he’s already really good at giving kisses and snuggles. He’s been practicing lots at the shelter while he waits for his new home.

“Nova enjoys playing with his dog friends and exploring new spaces! A plus for him would be a home with lots of room to run around — and tons of squeaky toys.”
