Baypath Adoptable Animal of the Week: Piper

by | Mar 10, 2022 | Featured

Adoptable Animal-Piper

Each week, the Independent highlights an animal available for adoption at Baypath Humane Society in Hopkinton. This week’s adoptable animal is Piper, a 7-month-old female.

Here is Baypath’s description of Piper:

“Piper is the sweetest girl, and she’s looking for a dog friend to call her own! She is a little shy at first, and is looking for a patient family and most importantly a dog brother or sister to help her blossom!

“Not only does she have the cutest spots, she’s also so soft! Piper loves to play! She is happiest when she has a dog around! They help build her confidence, and can help make scary things not so scary. Cats are too exciting for this young lady! No cats in her home, please. She loves her crate! It is her safe place, and where she collects all her toys! Piper has learned that couches are very cozy! Maybe she can snuggle up with your pup on the couch this winter?

Piper would love to live in a home with a fenced-in yard, she is still working on her leash skills, so the fence will help to keep her safe. She also would do best in a quiet area. Lots of traffic or city life would be too much for her!

“Piper would be happiest in a home with older teens or adults. Once she is comfortable with you she gives the best snuggles! She is already working hard to learn new things, she knows sit, touch and wait! She’s ready for more training with her new family to help boost her confidence even more!”

For more information on Piper and any of the other available pets at Baypath, email adopt@baypathhumane.org or visit baypathhumane.org/adopt.
