Baypath Adoptable Animal of the Week: Scoop

by | Jan 18, 2024 | Featured

Adoptable Animal-Scoop

Each week, the Independent highlights an animal available for adoption at Baypath Humane Society in Hopkinton. This week’s adoptable animal is 1-year-old Scoop.

Here is Baypath’s description of Scoop:

“Introducing Scoop, the lovable tripod with irresistible charm.

“Scoop’s curiosity and sense of adventure know no bounds. His adorable smile and unique underbite make him stand out, and once you meet him, you’ll be smitten.

“Scoop is an active pup who doesn’t let his missing leg slow him down. He enjoys going on walks, and you’ll be amazed at how effortlessly he keeps up, especially when accompanied by his doggie pals. Playing fetch with a tennis ball is one of his favorite hobbies, and he brings an infectious, silly energy to every play session.

“When it’s time to wind down, Scoop transforms into a cuddle bug! He loves nothing more than snuggling up on the couch and will roll over for belly rubs, sharing affection with his human pals.

“Looking ahead to the new year, Scoop is eager to start a fresh chapter with a loving family. Scoop is a bit timid around the hustle and bustle of apartment living and fast movement, so he’s hoping for a quieter environment. He envisions a home with teenagers or older, where he can explore at his own pace. Scoop is open to the idea of having a canine sibling and could make a great friend for your current pup.

“If you can provide the calm and loving home that Scoop deserves, don’t hesitate to reach out. Let’s make Scoop’s dream of a forever home a reality!”
