Hopkinton High School’s team of aspiring businesspersons traveled to Anaheim, California, early this month to participate in the Business Professionals of America national competition at the National Leadership Conference, and the Hillers had a successful time.
Tyler Rhodes took second place and Sucheta Sunder finished sixth in the Computer Modeling competition, Tara Joshi took third place in Digital Media Production, Ryan Hawkins finished eighth (of 74 competitors) in Banking and Finance, and the HHS Global Marketing team of Hawkins, Rhodes, Ashley McDermott and Ben Morey-Beale finished seventh — and has since been invited to attend a conference on nonprofits at Harvard University.
HHS junior Tiffany Ramsarran, the recently elected president of the Massachusetts chapter of BPA, represented the Bay State at student-led board meetings at the Anaheim event.
