The town announced on Friday that work on final paving on Claflin Place will begin early next week.Contractors will be on site Monday to do pavement repairs and prep work ahead of paving on Tuesday. They will return for another half day of work later in the week to conduct cleanup.

The road will be closed from 9 a.m.-1 p.m. on Tuesday. Access for residents will be maintained. Residents parked in the area are asked to move their cars before work begins and avoid driving on Claflin Place until the paving is complete. This, according to the notice, will expedite the paving process and provide a better finished product.
