Crews work on water main break on Hayden Rowe

The town’s Water and Sewer Department announced Wednesday morning that crews were responding to a water main break in the area of 213 Hayden Rowe St. Water was to be shut off in the area to make repairs. Others in the vicinity may notice discoloration and will need to flush their cold water lines.

Update, 1 p.m.: According to the Water and Sewer Department, crews have restored water service to the Hayden Rowe area and were flushing hydrants to help alleviate the discolored water. Residents are advised to check their cold water line and may need to flush it to help clear the pipes.
