DPW announces road repaving projects

by | Jun 11, 2020 | News

A handful of road repaving projects have been scheduled for mid-July, the Department of Public Works announced.

This summer’s projects include Claflin Street (full length), Clydesdale Lane (full length), Elm Street (from Lumber Street Extension to end), Palomino Drive (full length) and Wedgewood Drive (full length).

The DPW advises that once work begins on each project residents should expect delays, seek alternate routes when possible, and avoid parking on the street. Any utility work on the listed streets must be completed by July 6, and as per the town’s road opening permit policy, no permit will be granted for work on the road for five years, except for an emergency.
