DPW to close Pond Street Friday for tree work

The Department of Public Works announced it will close Pond Street temporarily on Friday for tree work.

DPW crews are scheduled to be on Pond Street on Friday between School Street and Spring Street. They will remove a hazardous tree limb near 190 Pond Street. Work hours are 8 a.m.-noon.

Residents are advised to expect detours and to seek alternate routes. Pond Street residents can coordinate with police details to access their homes.
