
Dwarka Chadha
Dwarka Nath Chadha, 83, of Hopkinton passed away Jan. 13, 2025. He is survived by his loving wife, Santosh, and two daughters, Sabina and Mona Chadha.
At the age of 28, Dwarka ventured from his homeland of India to the United States to pursue his career aspirations. He had 42 years of prestigious positions in executive roles in the pharmaceutical industry at Lyphomed and Fujisawa. In his personal life, he served as president of the Indian Association of Greater Boston and led the Indian community’s active participation in Boston politics. In his retirement, Dwarka wrote two books, “Suitcase” and “Touchdown.” He enjoyed contributing to Hopkinton community events as vice president of the Hopkinton Lions Club. He adored spending time with his family and friends, cooking and being a “foodie.”
Known for his cheerful smile, kind heart and sense of humor, Dwarka was always willing to lend a helpful hand and gave continuously and selflessly to both his family and lifelong friends. He will be honored and missed.
Visiting hours were held Jan 16 at the Morris-Johnston Funeral Home in Southborough. Religious services and eulogy were held Jan. 17 at Rural Cemetery in Worcester.
