Freda Johnson Gardner, 98, of Sharon passed away peacefully on Dec. 13 in
 Charlotte, North Carolina. She was born Jan. 7, 1925, in Hopkinton.

Freda was preceded in death by her beloved husband, William B. Gardner, and her children,
Kathleen Gardner and William C. Gardner and wife Paula.

Freda was a loving sister to Richard McCormack and wife Mary Lou. She was a cherished
grandmother to Karen Levanson, Mark Levanson and wife Chiresse, Kelly Gardner Medeiros and husband Phil, Scott Gardner, Jill Gardner Kenney, Kerri McCormack Russo and husband
Robert, and Janelle McCormack Barros and husband Jim. Freda also was a proud great-grandmother to Amanda Fontes Demers and husband Ben, Danielle Carter, Kelsey Levanson Ciucevich and husband Anthony, Kyle Russo, Reilly Russo, Thomas McCormack, Sophia Barros and Ashley McClure. Additionally, she was a great-great-grandmother to Owen Demers. Freda also had many nieces and nephews.

In her free time, Freda enjoyed camping, gardening and hosting holidays for her entire family. She had a passion for baking and delighted in preparing delicious treats for her loved ones.

Freda will be deeply missed by her family and friends, who will forever cherish the memories they shared with her.

A private family gathering to celebrate Freda’s life will be held at a later date.
