Growth Study Committee has vacancy

The Planning Board is seeking residents interested in serving on the Growth Study Committee, which has one open position.

The mission of the Growth Study Committee project is to utilize public input, analytics and objective experts to examine growth trends and development within the Town of Hopkinton and identify and recommend actions to ensure Hopkinton can continue to support its citizens throughout their lives to the highest of standards in education, public safety, health and protection of natural resources.

Anyone interested in applying should send a statement of interest to principal planner John Gelcich at jgelcich@hopkintonma.gov (email is preferred) or 18 Main St., Hopkinton, MA 01748 by noon on Sept. 25. The statement should be 250 words or less and include the why the applicant is interested in serving on the committee, how the applicant is uniquely qualified and what the applicant looks to achieve as a member.
