Hayden Rowe road work starts Friday

by | Jul 7, 2022 | News

Road work is scheduled to begin Friday on Hayden Rowe Street, just south of the intersection with Chestnut Street to the Milford town line, the town announced. This work is to repave the section of road disturbed during the Hayden Rowe water main replacement and provide a smooth roadway surface.

P.J. Hayes Inc. Excavating and it subcontractors will perform the work.

The work will start Friday with curb-to-curb milling and will continue Saturday due to the schedule of the available milling subcontractors. After the milling work is complete, the road will be repaved. The contractor expects the paving to be complete by July 29. One lane of travel with alternating traffic will be maintained throughout the project.

Due to weather and unforeseen conditions, changes to the schedule may be required.

  1. My poor car

My cars front end can now rest easy knowing it won’t be eviscerated the next time I drive to Milford via 85.

  2. Trapped by construction

Trapped on the east side of town. Now Hayden Rowe to Milford–what timing. How to get to Westborough or headings west without being stuck in traffic ? Wait till 4PM I guess.
