HHS boys tennis falls in state semifinals

The Hopkinton High School boys tennis team saw its memorable season come to a close Thursday with a 4-1 loss to Duxbury in the Division 2 state semifinals at Lexington High School.

Pranav Kapur won his match at third singles for Hopkinton’s only point.

Hopkinton, the fifth seed, ends the season with a record of 20-2.

Top-seeded Duxbury improves to 22-1 and will meet Westborough in the D2 state championship match Saturday at MIT.
