by | Apr 17, 2019 | Education

A Hopkinton High School team advanced at the Destination Imagination state tournament last month and will represent Massachusetts in the global finals in the engineering challenge.

The team consists of juniors Michael Giusti, Mihika Abraham, Akila Sanjay and Ananth Sanjay.

The global finals are scheduled for May 22-25 in Kansas City and will bring together more than 1,400 of the top-scoring Destination Imagination teams from 45-plus states and 14-plus countries.

Meanwhile, Hopkinton Middle School sent five Destination Imagination teams to the state tournament on March 30 at WPI, after they placed first or second at the regional tournament earlier last month.
