HHS soccer tournament update: Girls host Franklin Saturday afternoon, boys travel to Bedford

Coming off exciting wins Wednesday, the Hopkinton High School boys and girls soccer teams will face big tests Saturday in the quarterfinals of their state tournaments.

The girls (19-0-1), seeded third in Division 1, will host Franklin on Saturday at 3 p.m. Franklin (18-2-0) is the sixth seed and is coming off a 2-1 victory over 11th-seeded Algonquin.

The boys (14-2-4), seeded eighth in Division 2, will play at top-seeded Bedford on Saturday at noon. Bedford (11-2-5) posted a 2-1 victory over Reading in its last game.
