The team’s libero, Hebert recorded 266 digs and 398 receptions with only 28 reception errors in the regular season. “We had a really solid defense this season, and Abby was the anchor of our back line,” coach Emma Sweetapple said. “As the only returning varsity player who was a sophomore on the state championship team last year … she’s been a great leader and mentor for the five sophomores on our team.”
