Good morning, Hopkinton! Welcome to the daily update we call Hopkinton Today — a quick recap of yesterday’s news, highlights of what’s on tap, and a photo of the day.

Brandon Ward, executive director of Leadership MetroWest, says his organization being called “the community’s best-kept secret” is both a compliment and a critique.

“It means not a lot of people have heard about us,” said Ward.

Leadership MetroWest (LMW) has sought to remedy this situation. Part of the effort has included a major rebrand, which launched back in September. The organization worked with Holliston-based branding agency LRobInspires to redesign its logo and website.

“Our new look reflects the future of Leadership MetroWest,” Ward said in an earlier press release.

With its new branding, LMW hopes to expand its impact and do a better job of marketing the work it does with community leaders.

“We want to make sure our program and process is widely known through our community,” Ward said.

Since its founding in 1986, LMW has seen over 1,100 individuals come through its flagship program, the Leadership Academy. In recent years it has launched Level Up — a young professionals development program — and an alumni program.

Ward recognizes there is a need for leadership development in the MetroWest region, and hopes his organization can rise to meet the demand.

“There’s way more individuals and leaders in the community looking for this kind of programming,” he said.

Those interested can find more information at Leadership MetroWest’s website.
