The Harlem Wizards will return to town next month to face off against Hopkinton teachers and raise money for the Hopkinton Parent Teacher Organization.

“This will be our fourth year in a row doing it,” said Dana Passante, HPTO co-president.

The game is scheduled for Nov. 19 at the Hopkinton High School athletic center. Tickets are on sale now, though the official teacher lineup has not been finalized.

“We’re still working on it,” Sarah Navin, the other HPTO co-president, said in an interview at the end of September. “[We] typically have it secured before the first week in November.”

Navin and Passante encouraged residents to secure their tickets soon, as the event has sold out the past three years. They hope this year will be no exception.

Passante described the game as a “fun, highly energetic night” that features the trick basketball skills off the Wizards as they face off against Hopkinton Public Schools faculty. The evening will include a kids dance party on the court, autograph sessions and other activities involving the crowd.

The money raised from the game benefits all grade levels throughout the school district.

“[The money] is used by administration to build enrichment opportunities for our students so we can continue to be one of the best school systems in Massachusetts,” said Navin.
