The Hopkinton Public Library will be open on Sundays once again starting early next month.

Sunday hours at the library will start Sept. 7 for the 2025-26 school year. Hours are noon-4 p.m. The library will pause Sunday hours again in 2026 beginning on Memorial Day.

To celebrate the return of Sunday hours, HPL librarians put together a video available to watch on the library’s website. The video parodies the popular television series “Game of Thrones” and features the HPL’s reference and technology supervisor Danielle Wolber.

The library began offering Sunday hours last year as a response to “community needs and feedback from residents.” Support the library received during the 2022 Town Meeting funded four new full-time positions and an increase in hours for three part-time staff, making the additional hours possible.
