The Hopkinton High School girls varsity hockey team will face Dedham on Saturday in a fundraiser game for ovarian cancer research.

The fundraiser is an annual tradition for the girls hockey team. It was started in 2019 to support a player’s mother who was battling the disease. The team raised $1,800 from the event its first year.

Saturday’s game will feature baked goods, raffle prizes and a 50/50 raffle. All proceeds will benefit both the girlygirl PARTS Foundation and the Dana-Farber Cancer Institute.

The game starts at 4 p.m. at the New England Sports Center in Marlborough. Additional information can be found on Hopkinton Athletics’ X profile.
