Good morning, Hopkinton! Welcome to the daily update we call Hopkinton Today — a quick recap of yesterday’s news, highlights of what’s on tap, and a video or two to brighten your morning.

By a unanimous vote, School Committee members agreed Thursday to place an article on the May 8 Special Town Meeting warrant seeking money for a feasibility study to look at the possibility of a new school to replace Elmwood School. The cost of the study, estimated at about $1 million, is proposed to come out of the Legacy Farms host community agreement.

Three employees of 1-800-GOT-JUNK are being recognized for freeing an injured man who was pinned under a car on South Street this past Sunday evening. Jayden Aponte, Marcos Santiago and Matt Pace were pulling into the parking lot of their office at 100 South Street when they heard a loud bang and then someone screaming for help.
