At its public meeting on Wednesday, the Upper Charles Trail Committee provided a progress report on the Hopkinton portion of the proposed trail project, an 8-mile path through town that extends from Milford to Ashland. During the public comment portion of the meeting, nearly 20 residents spoke, with the majority expressing concerns about safety.
The Hopkinton-based charity Live4Evan, an organization that provides housing to families while their children are being treated at Boston Children’s Hospital, opened its fourth apartment last month and has lofty goals for the future.
The annual Knights of Columbus free throw competition will be held Tuesday, Jan. 4, at Hopkinton High School after the Hopkinton-Ashland varsity boys basketball game. Trophies/medals will be awarded to the top three finishers in each age category, and first-place winners advance to the district finals.
