Good morning, Hopkinton! Welcome to the daily update we call Hopkinton Today — a quick recap of yesterday’s news, highlights of what’s on tap, and a photo of the day.

The Hopkinton Police Department on Thursday announced that detectives arrested and charged a New York man who allegedly stole $10,000 from an elderly Hopkinton resident through a well-documented nationwide computer technical support scam.

The Conservation Commission at a brief meeting Tuesday night announced that Hopkinton received a grant to develop the town’s first climate resiliency plan. The commission also address concerns with a Whisper Way subdivision.

This week’s Baypath Adoptable Animal is 4-year-old Mack, who “loves to cuddle and give kisses, but is also always excited to go on fun adventures and hikes.”

Our latest Professional Insights from Edward Jones financial advisor Mark Freeman focuses on building retirement security.
