Hopkinton Today: Friday, Feb. 2

by | Feb 2, 2024 | Featured: Features, Hopkinton Today

Good morning, Hopkinton! Welcome to the daily update we call Hopkinton Today — a quick recap of yesterday’s news, highlights of what’s on tap, and a photo of the day.

At Thursday’s School Committee meeting, members met with representatives of the Special Education Parent Advisory Council to review where things stand following last year’s volatility. Last March, working with a mediator, the School Committee and SEPAC mapped out a strategy to improve their communication and connectivity throughout the year.

This week’s Move In Style Athlete Spotlight shines on girls hockey player Lucey Jean, a “dynamic forward” who is only a sophomore.

The Hopkinton Department of Land Use, Planning and Permitting (DLUPP) is asking community members to provide feedback by filling out a survey via Google Forms.

This week’s Baypath Adoptable Animal is 8-month-old Diesel, a “big, affectionate pup who loves to play and zoom around.”

Photo of the Day: Employees from EFC Gases & Advanced Materials in Hopkinton recently volunteered at Project Just Because.
