Good morning, Hopkinton! Welcome to the daily update we call Hopkinton Today — a quick recap of yesterday’s news, highlights of what’s on tap, and a photo and video of the day.

The Upper Charles Trail Committee at its 90-minute meeting Wednesday night discussed the inclusion of previous data from emails and a survey on the town website to help the public better understand the committee’s initiatives as well as to increase transparency.

The Hopkinton Chinese American Association will host its Lunar New Year Gala this Sunday from 5-8:30 p.m. at Hopkinton High School. There will be food, music, dances and fun activities. All are welcome.

The Hopkinton Women’s Club will host its next monthly meeting/program Monday, Jan. 23, at 11 a.m. at the Hopkinton Public Library. The speaker is Cathleen Dinsmore from the Hopkinton Freedom Team.
