Good morning, Hopkinton! Welcome to the daily update we call Hopkinton Today — a quick recap of yesterday’s news, highlights of what’s on tap, and a photo and video of the day.

The Upper Charles Trail Committee discussed future goals at Wednesday’s meeting and debated whether or not to push forward with a preliminary design of a segment of the trail in the area of Marathon School.

Hopkinton’s Department of Public Works announced that crews will be removing and plating structures in preparation for road resurfacing work on a handful of street starting Monday (July 25) and continuing until Thursday (July 28).

Leading off the latest Business Briefs, Hopkinton’s Arthur Marshall was elected to the Massachusetts Society of Certified Public Accountants Board of Directors for its 2022-23 fiscal year.

The newest Business Profile highlights local real estate agent Trina Macchi, who urges people to choose an agent who is deeply “immersed in the field and doing a lot of business.”

This week’s Baypath Adoptable Animal is Beau, a 3-year-old dog who has “nice house manners, is house-trained and is looking for a home to be loved, relax and go on walks with his favorite humans.”
