by | Aug 1, 2022 | Featured: Features, Hopkinton Today

Good morning, Hopkinton! Welcome to the daily update we call Hopkinton Today — a quick recap of yesterday’s news, highlights of what’s on tap, and a photo and video of the day.

Two musicals and a handful of original comedies combined into one production will provide entertainment for all ages at the Hopkinton Center for the Arts every weekend in August. Enter Stage Left Theater, HCA’s resident theater company, will put on “Seussical Jr.,” “Little Women The Musical” and “A Play, A Pint & A Pie.”

Longtime Hopkinton High School guidance counselor and coach Kiely Murray has taken the reins of the athletic department as the new interim athletic director with the hope of making the position permanent next year.

As part of the Main Street Corridor Project this week, crews will work on Verizon and Comcast duct banks at Grove Street and Cedar Street. Detours will be utilized as needed. Walcott Street will be opened to two-way traffic during detour hours to enable entrance from Cedar Street.

Town meetings tonight include the Sustainable Green Committee (6).
