by | Jan 29, 2024 | Featured: Features, Hopkinton Today

Good morning, Hopkinton! Welcome to the daily update we call Hopkinton Today — a quick recap of yesterday’s news, highlights of what’s on tap, and a photo of the day.

To our readers: Due to technical issues, we were unable to produce Hopkinton Today last week. We apologize for the inconvenience. With the issues now resolved, we look forward to providing you with these updates again.

The town last week apologized for the publication of the transcript of the unredacted interview with Hopkinton Police Sgt. Tim Brennan, a file that contained identifying information about the woman who accused former Deputy Chief John Porter of child rape.

Dr. Margo Roman, a longtime veterinarian who runs Main Street Animal Services (MASH) of Hopkinton, had her veterinary license suspended following her latest battle with the Massachusetts Veterinary Board.

The Conservation Commission reprimanded the representative of the Chamberlain/Whalen subdivision for the most recent stormwater management violations and discussed a lawsuit filed by The Trails against the commission.

The Planning Board at its most recent meeting primarily focused on continued discussions on how the town can comply with the MBTA Communities Act.
