Good morning, Hopkinton! Welcome to the daily update we call Hopkinton Today — a quick recap of yesterday’s news, highlights of what’s on tap, and a photo of the day.

it was a big weekend for Hopkinton High School athletics, as the boys and girls soccer teams both reached the state semifinals with one-goals victories, while the Hillers cross country teams qualified for the state championship meet.

Hopkinton Parks & Rec hosted its first Skate/BMX Jam on Sunday at the basketball courts outside Hopkinton Middle School, and we have photos.

The Community Preservation Committee at its meeting Thursday night reviewed several applications for fiscal year 2025, one of which was revised after receiving the committee’s input in August.

Flanagan Insurance is hosting a pet food and supplies collection to benefit Baypath Humane Society from Nov. 1-20. Items can be dropped off at the agency’s South Street lobby.

Residents are invited to become a Dementia Friend by attending an interactive and engaging Dementia Friends Information Session at St. John the Evangelist Church on Dec. 6 at 7 p.m.
