Good morning, Hopkinton! Welcome to the daily update we call Hopkinton Today — a quick recap of yesterday’s news, highlights of what’s on tap, and a video or two to brighten your morning.
A three-alarm fire broke out Sunday morning in the mixed-use building at 17 Main St. that houses multiple businesses and at least one apartment. The Hopkinton Fire Department indicated that there were no injuries, but two adults were displaced from their home as the building suffered major damage.
The Hopkinton Public Library has reopened for quick browsing from 1-4 p.m. on weekdays. A mask covering the nose and mouth is required. There will be a limited number of people allowed in the building at one time. Not all services/areas will be open.
The town’s latest COVID-19 update has information on Town Hall, the library reopening, a crisis counseling program called MassSupport and more.
Town committees meeting tonight include the Zoning Advisory Committee (7) and the Cultural Council (7:30).
