Good morning, Hopkinton! Welcome to the daily update we call Hopkinton Today — a quick recap of yesterday’s news, highlights of what’s on tap, and a photo of the day.

Cycling advocates raised concerns about the safety of the separated bike lane implemented as part of the Main Street Corridor Project, hoping that modifications will be handled when construction resumes in the spring.

The Parks & Recreation Commission at its meeting Tuesday evening discussed the need to have written policies in place regarding program registration for out-of-town residents as well as scholarship parameters for lower-income Hopkinton residents.

The Hopkinton High School girls basketball team opened the season with a 46-35 victory over visiting Ashland on Tuesday, and we have photos.

Leading off the latest Business Briefs, Nick Slottje, president and CEO of Hopkinton-based Charlesbank Realty Group, is set to unveil his company’s newest building in the Elmwood Park Industrial Complex on Elm Street.

This week’s Police Log includes two arrests along with reports of a $10,000 scam, an individual finding a loaded handgun, and a hawk stuck in the grille of a car.

Town meetings tonight include the School Committee (7) and Community Preservation Committee (7).
