Two cease and desist orders were filed last week against Grasshopper Energy to stop construction of a 2.4-megawatt solar farm between Wilson Street and Cedar Street after allegations were made by the Narragansett Indian Tribal Historic Preservation office that artifacts sacred to the tribe’s culture were destroyed.
This week’s edition of the Police Log includes information about an accident on Chestnut Street on July 4 in which a vehicle overturned, sending three people to the hospital.
Hopkinton’s Department of Public Works will host a household hazardous waste collection for residents on July 31 at the DPW facility at 83 Wood St.
Town meetings tonight include the School Committee (7) and Open Space Preservation Commission (7).
