Good morning, Hopkinton! Welcome to the daily update we call Hopkinton Today — a quick recap of yesterday’s news, highlights of what’s on tap, and a photo of the day.

Members of the Elementary School Building Committee told architects on Tuesday that they needed as much detail as possible about costs associated with outdoor features for a proposed new school for Grades 2-4.

The Hoyt family announced Tuesday that the inaugural Dick Hoyt Yes You Can Run Together Road Race this Saturday in Hopkinton will go on despite the sudden death of Rick Hoyt on Monday.

This week’s Police Log includes one arrest along with reports of an individual being scammed out of $146,000, a dog being struck by a pickup truck, and a fraudulent lumber purchase.

Town meetings tonight include the Youth Commission (6:45), School Committee (7) and Trails Coordination and Management Committee (7:30).
