Hopkinton Today: Thursday, Oct. 6

by | Oct 6, 2022 | Featured: Features,

Good morning, Hopkinton! Welcome to the daily update we call Hopkinton Today — a quick recap of yesterday’s news, highlights of what’s on tap, and a photo and video of the day.

The Boston Athletic Association has allocated 50 invitational entries to the Town of Hopkinton for the 2023 Boston Marathon, the town announced. The Select Board will set the number distribution policy at its Oct. 11 meeting.

This week’s Police Log includes reports of a dog biting a woman, a naked photo shoot at the State Park, and a car that was stolen and crashed.

The Hopkinton Public Library will officially introduce its library of things on Saturday, Oct. 22, from 10 a.m.-4 p.m. at the library’s Ellsworth Room. The library of things is a collection of items — games, electronics, musical instruments, etc. — that can be borrowed or used at the library.

Town meetings tonight include the Cemetery Commission (6).
