Good morning, Hopkinton! Welcome to the daily update we call Hopkinton Today — a quick recap of yesterday’s news, highlights of what’s on tap, and a photo of the day.

The Select Board at its meeting Tuesday night voted unanimously to approve a three-year contract with Elaine Lazarus, officially making her Hopkinton’s town manager.

The Conservation Commission provided feedback on the stormwater peer review reports for the proposed Charleswood Elementary School project during its meeting Tuesday.

This week’s Police Log features two arrests, along with reports of an abandoned boat, a bus stuck on the Fruit Street bridge, and a wounded skunk.

The Hopkinton Trails Club will host a group walk on the Legacy Farms North trail on Sunday, Sept. 15, at 1 p.m. This trail tour will route up to the State Park and back.

Town meetings tonight include the School Committee (7) and the Open Space Preservation Commission (7)
