At Tuesday’s Select Board meeting, Dan McIntyre of the Permanent Building Committee gave a presentation on behalf of the Center School Reuse Advisory Team on potential future uses of Center School and its property. Options included using the front portion for town offices and keeping or rebuilding the back portion for Parks & Rec, or finding a public-private partnership to develop housing.
This week’s edition of the Police Log features five arrests along with reports of a man threatening a State Park employee with an M16 rifle, marathon runners impeding Polyarts preparation, and a pen cartridge being mistaken for drugs.
A fashion show fundraiser to benefit GirlyGirl Parts and the Dana-Farber Cancer Institute will be held Monday, Oct. 4, and Tuesday, Oct. 5, at Central Public House. The event includes a dinner and cash bar.
Town meetings tonight include the Lake Maspenock Weed Management and Control Advisory Group (5:30) and School Committee (7).
