by | Sep 26, 2024 | Featured: Features, Hopkinton Today

Good morning, Hopkinton! Welcome to the daily update we call Hopkinton Today — a quick recap of yesterday’s news, highlights of what’s on tap, and a photo of the day.

The Conservation Commission at its meeting Tuesday night objected to a reference to “full clearing and grubbing of the site” in the proposed phasing plan for the Charleswood Elementary School.

The Elementary School Building Committee at its Tuesday meeting approved rooftop unit upgrades corresponding with accommodations for future expansions to the Charleswood School.

The Parks & Recreation Commission spent its meeting Tuesday night debating how to address the town’s recent enactment of water restrictions.

This week’s Police Log features reports of fireworks debris, a dispute between coworkers, an accident involving a school bus and a Verizon truck, and a turtle in the road on Fruit Street.

The Hopkinton Cultural Council presents the annual Art on the Trail — a self-guided experience where people can enjoy art created by community members while walking the Center Trail — from Oct. 7-25.

Town meetings tonight include the Tax Relief Committee (6) and the School Committee (7).
