Good morning, Hopkinton! Welcome to the daily update we call Hopkinton Today — a quick recap of yesterday’s news, highlights of what’s on tap, and a photo of the day.

The Permanent Building Committee at its meeting Monday reviewed a proposal for a 45-unit age-restricted development at the Center School site that would include retail space and a park.

The latest Tales from a Townie feature takes a look at the history of the building that most recently housed Hopkinton Drug.

This week’s Real Estate Transactions list shows eight sales, including three for more than $1 million.

The newest Senior Snippets has information on a solar eclipse viewing, silk scarf making, gardening for wildlife and more.

The Friends of Whitehall’s spring lake and trail cleanup will be held Saturday, April 20, from 9 a.m.-noon. Participants will gather at the boat landing parking lot at Whitehall State Park and be assigned areas of trails and shoreline.

Town meetings tonight include the Select Board (6), Tax Relief Committee (6:30), Veterans Celebration Committee (6:30) and Historical Commission (7).
