Good morning, Hopkinton! Welcome to the daily update we call Hopkinton Today — a quick recap of yesterday’s news, highlights of what’s on tap, and a video or two to brighten your morning.
The recipients of the Presidential Awards for Excellence in Mathematics and Science Teaching were announced Monday, and Hopkinton High School’s Doug Scott was one of two teachers from Massachusetts to make the list.
The restrictive nature of the pandemic has not stopped Girl Scouts and Boy Scouts from continuing to help the Hopkinton community.
The Select Board meets tonight (6). Among the items on the agenda are September’s Town Meeting, the town’s budget and a license for the new owners of Marathon Pizza, which soon will be called Royal Pizza. The Historical Commission meets tonight (7) as well.
