Good morning, Hopkinton! Welcome to the daily update we call Hopkinton Today — a quick recap of yesterday’s news, highlights of what’s on tap, and a photo and video of the day.
“You can’t go home again,” is an oft-quoted line from American novelist Thomas Wolfe. But the Hopkinton Center for the Arts is proving that adage wrong. It is literally going home again to the farmhouse where it began over two decades ago.
Leading off the Hopkinton High School sports roundup, senior Kate Powers won the shot put at the state Division 2 Indoor Track and Field State Championship meet, while Justin Sokol took second at the Division 2 state Division 2 Wrestling Championship.
This week’s Library Corner includes information on programs including a Museum of Bad Art presentation and a talk about “Plants as Muse.”
Town meetings tonight include the Lake Maspenock Weed Management and Advisory Group (5) and the Design Review Board (6:30).
