by | Feb 28, 2023 | Featured: Features, Hopkinton Today

Good morning, Hopkinton! Welcome to the daily update we call Hopkinton Today — a quick recap of yesterday’s news, highlights of what’s on tap, and a photo and video of the day.

Superintendent Carol Cavanaugh announced Monday night that all Hopkinton public schools will be closed Tuesday due to a winter storm. Snow was expected to start late Monday night and continue throughout the day Tuesday. About 3-6 inches of snow is expected by Tuesday evening.

The Hopkinton High School Drama Ensemble will present “The Women of Lockerbie,” an award-winning play written by Deborrah Brevoort, on March 9-11.

The Hopkinton Police Department announced that it will be conducting underage alcohol compliance checks at local establishments over the next few months.

The next Veterans Breakfast is this Friday at the Hopkinton Senior Center. Tributes will be paid to comrades who have passed recently, and those who are on “sick call” will be acknowledged.

Town meetings tonight include the Select Board (6) and Conservation Commission (7).
