Good morning, Hopkinton! Welcome to the daily update we call Hopkinton Today — a quick recap of yesterday’s news, highlights of what’s on tap, and a photo and video of the day.

Hopkinton held its Memorial Day ceremonies Monday. Events took place at Evergreen Cemetery in Woodville, St. John’s and Mount Auburn Cemetery on Mayhew Street, and the Town Common.

A dozen Hopkinton High School students with aspirations of health care careers will be in Nashville, Tennessee, from June 22-25 to compete at the International Leadership Conference for the Health Occupations Students of America (HOSA). The students earned the honor by placing in the top three at the state competition and will face about 10,000 competitors from around the world at the event.

Town Manager Norman Khumalo and Chief Financial Officer Tim O’Leary announced that Standard & Poor’s Financial Services LLC (S&P) Global Ratings has affirmed the town’s strong AAA credit rating.

Hopkinton High School’s boys and girls lacrosse teams battled through tough schedules this season and showed that there is hope for the future.
