Good morning, Hopkinton! Welcome to the daily update we call Hopkinton Today — a quick recap of yesterday’s news, highlights of what’s on tap, and a photo and video of the day.

For the past five years, locals, many in costume, have participated in the Hopkinton Center for the Arts’ Halloween 5K run. The HCA Wicked Weekend fundraiser is back again, this time with new activities to attract individuals of all ages.

Leading off Business Briefs, Mass General Brigham recently recognized Milford Regional Physician Group Medical Director Elizabeth Siraco, a Hopkinton resident, for her outstanding leadership in primary care.

This week’s Senior Snippets includes information on programs about keeping financial control, Diwali shopping in India, and the art of ancient Greece.

Town meetings tonight include the Lake Maspenock Weed Control Management and Advisory Group (5), Select Board (6), Elmwood Project Community Forum (6:30), Youth Commission (7), Commissioners of Trust Funds (7) and Marathon Fund Committee (7).
