by | Oct 24, 2023 | Featured: Features, Hopkinton Today

Good morning, Hopkinton! Welcome to the daily update we call Hopkinton Today — a quick recap of yesterday’s news, highlights of what’s on tap, and a photo of the day.

With Halloween next Tuesday, the Hopkinton Police Department recently alerted the community to a holiday-related trend that has spooked some residents and prompted calls to the station.

The Hopkinton High School golf team missed out on the postseason this fall by a single match, and coach Bill Phaneuf said the key for the Hillers to avoid the same fate next season is to cut out the big numbers.

Leading off Business Briefs, Hopkinton’s Robert Buday, author of the award-winning marketing book “Competing On Thought Leadership,” will share how professionals of all kinds can raise their profile as experts and attract more clients at a free seminar/book signing Dec. 10.

This week’s Library Corner includes information on National Friends of the Library Week, preschool story time, author talks and more.

Town meetings tonight include the Appropriation Committee (6), Design Review Board (6:30), Conservation Commission (7) and Elementary School Building Committee public forum (7).
