Good morning, Hopkinton! Welcome to the daily update we call Hopkinton Today — a quick recap of yesterday’s news, highlights of what’s on tap, and a video or two to brighten your morning.
The Planning Board met Monday to approve the Connelly Farms nine-lot subdivision at the corner of Hayden Rowe Street and College Street by a 6-0 vote with a number of conditions after considering numerous waiver requests. Also at Monday’s meeting, an OSLPD was proposed for the Turkey Ridge (formerly Deer Ridge Estates) eight-lot subdivision off Lincoln Street and Cedar Street Extension.
Hopkinton seniors who qualified for the state’s circuit breaker tax credit on their 2020 Massachusetts income tax filing are encouraged to apply for a limited exemption of property taxes for the upcoming year. The application deadline is Aug. 31.
The seventh annual Angel Fund Golf Tournament to benefit ALS research will be held Monday, Sept. 20, at the Hopkinton Country Club. The event includes an 18-hole shotgun tournament, a cocktail reception, a dinner, gifts and prizes.
Town meetings tonight include the Upper Charles Trails Committee (5), Housing Authority (6) and Board of Appeals (7).
