Good morning, Hopkinton! Welcome to the daily update we call Hopkinton Today — a quick recap of yesterday’s news, highlights of what’s on tap, and a video or two to brighten your morning.
At Monday night’s Planning Board meeting, Shahidul Mannan was selected to fill the vacant seat on the board. The board then discussed a few proposed developments, including Leonard Street, Connelly Farms and the Chamberlain-Whalen subdivision.
This week’s Police Log includes reports of a school bus accident, a sinkhole on a street, lightning strikes, a harassed delivery driver and a snapping turtle in a pool.
Town meetings tonight include the Housing Authority (4) and Board of Appeals (7). The School Committee will meet in executive session at 7 p.m. to discuss negotiations with the Hopkinton Teachers Association.
