by | Jun 1, 2022 | Featured: Features, Hopkinton Today

Good morning, Hopkinton! Welcome to the daily update we call Hopkinton Today — a quick recap of yesterday’s news, highlights of what’s on tap, and a photo and video of the day.

Leading off Independent Thoughts, the Hopkinton Cricket League continues to grow — and continues to take advantage of its prosperity to help the community. On May 22, the league held its season-ending tournament at Victory Field on Fruit Street.

It’s a big week for Hopkinton High School seniors. Graduation is scheduled for Friday at 6 p.m. at the HHS football field. Rain date is Sunday. On Saturday, the graduation car parade will be held from 10 a.m.-noon.

The next monthly Veterans Breakfast at the Hopkinton Senior Center is this Friday and is sponsored by Fairview Estates. Organizers will recall several past military events that happened on this date and entertain sports fans with baseball events from June 3.

This week’s Library Corner includes information on an upcoming Red Cross Blood Drive, a guided trail walk with the Hopkinton Trails Club and the summer reading program.

This week’s Business Profile highlights Barbara Carroll, who left her job as a stockbroker 25 years ago to become the owner and trainer at Dog Hikes & Cat Care.

Town meetings tonight include the Board of Health (5:30) and Sustainable Green Committee (6).
